This page decribes the major upcoming Cyclopath milestones, what features are necessary to get there, and when we expect that might happen.

  • Robustify geodiffing.
  • Reverting.
  • Lots of miscellaneous small items.
  • More focused history tracking:
    • by watch region
    • by viewport
  • Editing blocks.
  • Aerial photographs.

  • Mechanism for users to give each other feedback on their edits.
  • Tagging blocks and points.
  • GPS features:
    • Download of routes for GPS-assisted navigation.

  • Route saving and sharing.
  • Manual route entry and editing.
  • GPS features:
    • Upload of tracks to assist editing.
    • Conversion of uploaded tracks to routes.

[edit] User-requested features not yet scheduled

  • Some way to visually distinguish bike trails on the map
  • Exclude unnamed or unsigned roads and trails from routing
