[edit] Tagging
Tags are short annotations that can be used to describe objects in Cyclopath such as points and blocks. Furthermore, tags can be used to filter points on the map or to specify route preferences.

[edit] Adding and Removing tags
To add a tag, first select a point or block on the map. There will be a list of tags (which may be empty) where it says 'Tags:'. Use the input box at the end of the tag list to add new tags. As you type the text for the new tag, an autocomplete will show tags that have been entered previously. Note that tags are transformed to lowercase once they are entered. You can also use Enter as a shortcut for adding tags.
To remove a tag, simply click on the 'X' button for the tag you which to remove.
If you click on a tag, it will become selected and all other points and blocks in the map that contain that tag will become highlighted.
[edit] Special Tag
The tag 'closed' is special in that its text color is red and it modifies the look of the block it is applied to show that it is closed.
[edit] Using tags in Cyclopath
In the Control Panel, you will find the point filter. It contains a list of tags to use for filtering points. Every point in the map that has at least one of the checked tags will be displayed.
The first checkbox in the list, 'Points with no tag', is different from the rest, since it is not actually a tag. Once checked, all points in the map that have no tags applied to them will be displayed.
To hide or show all points, use the 'Check None' and 'Check All' buttons respectively.
To learn how to use tags in the route finder, go to Finding Routes.
