Biking into Downtown St. Paul from Roseville - need recommendatiions

I want to bike into St. Paul from Roseville. I need to be in DT by 11:40 a.m. and I leave at 1:30 p.m. on Monday and Thursdays. I've not navigated DT St. Paul on a bike. What's the best route in and out?
